The Stuka was Germany’s most famous dive bomber of World War II, recognizable by its inverted gull-wings and fixed undercarriage. Stuka innovations included an automatic pull-up system to ensure that the plane recovered from its attack dive even if the pilot blacked out, and wind-powered sirens on the wheel covers that wailed during dives to scare its victims.
This kit is a 1:18 scale flying model. Pre-1942 design, eligible for Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests.
This free flight rubber powered kit contains a full-size rolled plan, printed balsa and hand-picked balsa strip wood, rubber motor, 10″ E-B propeller, EBM thrust bearing, vacuum-molded canopy, wheels, wire, TissueCal™ markings, and Easy Built Lite tissue in olive green and light sky blue. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.
