Silver Dart is a Canadian pioneer airplane, 1:24 scale display model with open fuselage design. Flown in 1909, the Silver Dart was the first powered flight in Canada. Designed by the Aerial Experiment Association, a team which included Alexander Graham Bell, Glenn Curtiss, Douglas McCurdy and other distinguished minds, it used a water-cooled engine.
This display model kit contains a full-size rolled plan, hand-picked balsa wood, and Easy Built Lite tissue. To build this model you will need a building board set, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue. The builder determines the level of detail for this model and may need to supply additional materials.
