This flying model was designed by Speed Robertson and engineered by Reginald Denny. It qualifies for 4 Flying Aces Club events: Jimmie Allen, Old Time Rubber, Old Time Two-Bit Rubber, and Embryo. Pre-1942 design, eligible for Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) contests.
This free flight rubber powered model airplane kit includes a full-size rolled plan, laser cut balsa parts and hand-picked balsa strip wood, Easy Built Lite tissue in a variety of bright colors, FAI rubber motor, E-B propeller, EBM thrust bearing, wheels, wire, clear plastic for the windshield, and 1 pair of Jimmie Allen TissueCal™ markings. To build this model you will need a building board, hobby knife, fine sandpaper, and glue.

I was real happy with the results as it brushed on like dope and doesn’t contribute to any shrinkage. I flew my Jimmie Allen Special yesterday. It flew like a champ. It was a bit windy so I’m only up to 300 winds. I did have to move the wing forward 1 inch to achieve the center of gravity, so I had to reposition the dowels before I went to the field.” – Warren Niffenegger
