I just wanted to let you know that Charles got all his stuff this weekend! He wanted me to say “Mahalo (Thank you)!” for the decals; he has plans for them. He and I have talked through his program to build these planes, starting, actually, with a couple of designs in that very helpful book we got from your store last Christmas. I don’t want him to bite off more than he can chew or, more likely, rush to complete something and then sour him from the hobby.

I’ve been struggling with building my airplane’s and nearly have given up on returning to the hobby.
The tip on wetting the balsa strips I found when building the fuselage was extremely helpful and solved the issue I had been having with my building.

You are the only balsa vendor I know of that sells 1/32" contest wood, takes a variety of payment methods including Paypal, and has a site that a customer can directly order from. Your sheet plastic molds better than any other I've come across also. The other balsa vendors I know of make it difficult to compile an order, and often don't state payment methods, as well as rolling the dice as to what grade of wood you get. Like free flight modelers, I build small electric scale models inclding EDF where weight is critical, and learned my lesson buying balsa wood from a few other places. Not trying to encourage you to raise prices LOL, but we basically don't care how much it costs to buy your premium wood, as contest weight wood is mandatory for our projects. I'm more than convinced that the few vendors including a local business I bought from are pirating the decent wood from commercial packs such as Midwest and Bud Nosen, and shipping customers balsa that is heavier than lite ply. In the past I would get around 20% contest weight wood in Midwest and Nosen 1/32" packs, and at least 30% that was useable for something. Now I have no interest in buying wood from anyone other than a specialty business like yours, which sells contest wood.
